15 Minute One Pot - Episode 16 . Garlic Honey Crispy Sausage Rice . ⬇️ Recipe below ⬇️ . If you’re after something quick, sticky, and ridiculously tasty for dinner tonight… this one has been SUCH a hit in our house. Crispy sausage, sweet honey, a little kick from the sriracha and loads of veggies mixed through, proper comfort in a bowl.
It’s done in around 15 minutes, uses just one pan, and the kids absolutely demolished it ❤️ . Serves 4 . Ingredients .
400g pork sausages (skins removed and broken into pieces)
4 tsp garlic purée, or 4 cloves grated (split use)
2 tbsp light soy sauce (split use)
2 tbsp dark soy sauce (split use)
2 tbsp honey (plus extra to drizzle)
1 tbsp sriracha (optional for heat)
1 white onion (finely diced or frozen diced)
2 mixed peppers (finely sliced or frozen sliced)
100g tenderstem broccoli (chopped into small pieces)
500g cooked basmati rice (microwave pouch)
1 tsp sesame seeds (to garnish) . Method . Place a large pan over medium to high heat and add the sausage meat in small chunks. Fry for 5–6 minutes until golden and crispy around the edges. Add half of the garlic purée, half of the soy sauce, the honey and sriracha. Coat the sausage in the sticky glaze and cook for 1–2 minutes until glossy. Remove from the pan and set aside. In the same pan over medium heat, add the onion, peppers and tenderstem broccoli. Fry for 3–4 minutes until softened.
Stir in the remaining garlic and remaining soy sauce. Tip in the cooked basmati rice and stir well, cooking for 2–3 minutes until piping hot and combined.
Add the sticky sausage back into the pan and toss everything together.
Garnish with sesame seeds and an extra drizzle of honey. . Calories: - 512 per serving
