Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breasts (cut into bite size cubes)
  • 4 tbsp grape seed oil
  • 1 cooking onion (chopped, large)
  • 2 cloves of clv garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp garam masala (spice mixture)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp bunch of cilantro
  • 1/4 tsp tumeric
  • 0.12 tsp cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ginger (fresh, finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 slice of from a tomato (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup ice water
  • 1/2 cup yogurt (plain)
  • 4 servings bunch of cilantro (fresh, for garnish)
  • 4 servings salt (to taste)

Instructions

    In a small bowl mix all the spices including the ginger. Set aside.

    In a large saucepan, heat the oil .

    Add the onions and cook until golden brown.

    Add the garlic and continue to cook for a minute.

    Stir in the spices and allow the flavours to infuse.

    Add the chopped tomato and pour in the water. Simmer and season with salt to taste.
