@bellaskitchen25 Crispy Steak Tacos with Chimichurri 🌮 Tag who loves cheesy tacos 🧀🌮 Ingredients (for 6 tacos) 🥩Steak & Marinade • 500 g steak, cut into bite-sized cubes • 2 garlic cloves, peeled • Juice of ½ orange • Juice of 1 lime • 2 tbsp soy sauce • ½ sliced onion • ½ jalapeño, sliced (optional) • ½ bunch cilantro • 1 tsp chili powder • 1 tsp smoked paprika • 1 tsp oregano • 1 tsp cumin • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste) • ½ tsp black pepper • 2 tbsp olive oil 🌿Chimichurri Sauce • 30 g fresh parsley, finely chopped • 30 g cilantro, finely chopped • 2 garlic cloves, minced • 60 ml (¼ cup) olive oil • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar • 1 tsp dried oregano • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste) • Salt & black pepper, to taste 🌮For Tacos • 6 flour tortillas • Shredded Gouda cheese • Olive oil, for frying 🥣Method 1. Make the steak • Add garlic, orange juice, lime juice, soy sauce, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, chili powder, paprika, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, and olive oil to food processor. Blend until smooth. • Pour marinade over cubed steak, mix well, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight for best flavor). • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. • Sear marinated steak cubes until browned and just cooked through. • Remove and set aside. 2. Build & fry the tacos • Add a little olive oil to a skillet. • Place a tortilla in the pan, sprinkle with shredded Gouda, then add steak cubes and a spoonful of chimichurri. • Fold tortilla into a taco shape and press lightly. • Fry both sides until golden brown and crispy.
